Bella Rosa Turf Supply
Artificial Grass Product Warranty

This is the product warranty provided by and for materials purchased from Bella Rosa Turf Supply (“Bella Rosa”) and is provided to the original purchaser (“Owner”). This is distinct from any labor warranty that may be provided by an installer of artificial turf and does not cover installation related warranty claims.

The specific length of this warranty and breakdown of coverage is as follows, pending approval by Bella Rosa:

0 - 10 Years from date of purchase: 100% coverage of material cost, as limited below
11 - 12 Years from date of purchase: 50% coverage of material cost, as limited below
13 - 14 Years from date of purchase: 15% coverage of material cost, as limited below

Fifteen years after the purchase date and onward, this warranty serves as a customer loyalty credit that may be used for new purchases at Bella Rosa Turf Supply. Possession of this warranty with records of original purchase may be used to secure an 5% credit on a new purchase by the Owner. Limitations may apply to which products may be purchased using this credit and will exclude any sale or clearance pricing that may exist at that time. Exclusions as detailed below apply.

This warranty does not cover the cost of labor for repairs or additional materials that may be required to reinstall an area. The only product provided under this warranty is a direct square footage replacement of turf. If a section of turf is found to have failed within the scope of this warranty, only the exact square footage that has failed shall be replaced. Bella Rosa does NOT offer a complete project replacement if any failure is found.

In addition to replacement of material, Bella Rosa reserves the right to instead issue a credit for the original cost of the square footage of failed material only to the Owner at Bella Rosa’s own discretion. Such reimbursement would follow the same proration schedule as described above. If Bella Rosa determines a credit is appropriate, such a credit would only be issued as a discount off a new purchase.

The Owner is advised that, should artificial grass be replaced under a warranty claim, there is likely to be a variation in color due to the new turf coming from a different dye lot. This variation is an expected outcome of synthetic grass manufacturing and is unavoidable when replacing material for warranty claims. Receiving replacement turf from a different dye lot shall not start a new warranty claim and is not covered under the scope of this warranty. If the Owner prefers a credit prior to receiving new material to avoid this potential outcome, it shall be provided.

The following are specifically covered against and within the scope of this warranty:
  • Stability of turf backing
  • Tuft Bind
  • UV degradation that diminishes the tensile strength or fiber thickness of the product by more than 50%
  • UV degradation that diminishes the pile height of the product by more than 25%
  • Significant fading beyond the expected scope of artificial turf (all plastics will fade slightly over time, this coverage is only for significant fade)

  • Exclusions include:
  • Any product sold as a “remnant”
  • Abuse and or misuse.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Matting of any kind - there is NO covered cause of matting under this warranty.
  • Damages caused by improper cleaning agents, exposure to chemicals containing elements from the halogen group (such as chlorine, fluorine, bromine, iodine), herbicides, pesticides, chemical run-off from neighboring properties and topical applications with a PH less than five (5) or greater than nine (9)
  • Damages caused by improper installation such as improper drainage, base layer compaction, etc.
  • Abnormal usage such as storage of heavy equipment, driving over the turf, or dragging sharp materials over the turf.
  • Damage caused, directly or indirectly, by acts of vandalism, machinery, animals, fire, chemical spills, acts of God, excessive static or dynamic loads, faulty or improper subsurface preparation, subsurface failure, or the use of unauthorized fluids or cleaning methods.
  • Damage resulting from localized heating (most often caused by highly reflective surfaces such as energy efficient or reflective windows & glass doors and/or smooth white surfaces).
In this scenario the reflected energy usually reaches the turf as a narrow band (10-25cm) of reflected heat and may reach temperatures in excess of the melting point of most plastics used in the synthetic turf industry. This is something to be particularly aware of when having artificial grass installed on the South or East side of the home and that is exposed to sunlight between 11:30 am and 2:00 pm adjacent to reflective surfaces. We will look for this with you and attempt to point out any potential issues however ultimate burden and responsibility for this rests with the owner as they are the only ones that know when and what type of windows were installed.
  • Damage caused by leaving any heat-absorbent material on the artificial grass during daylight hours such as clear or dark plastic sheeting, etc. These products absorb heat at a higher rate than the artificial grass and may cause localized shrinkage of the fibers as the temperature may exceed the artificial grass stabilization temperature.
  • Damage caused by root systems
  • This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from failure to provide reasonable maintenance including failure to clean the product as reasonably necessary.
  • Slight fading or color variation over the life of the artificial grass - this is expected and not covered under the scope of this warranty.
  • Bella Rosa commits to handling all warranty claims promptly and professionally conditional upon the Owner's account being in good standing at the time of the claim. All claims by the Owner made under the terms of this warranty must be made in writing and sent to warranty@bellarosaturfsupply.com. The date the written request is received will determine the proration rate. Replacement of a product or component does not renew the warranty period or otherwise affect the original warranty or warranty period.
